Just saying I enjoyed the work. I really enjoyed the Mississippi album a lot. Being from Natchez it's nice to see a native show it in a positive light other than tourist from..... where ever.

Hey Nathanael,

Great article on the balloon race!

I know we didn't get a chance to speak to you more than maybe an introduction, but we could really tell by your expressions and, now, this wonderful description of your experience with all of us that you had a great time. The Hobdy's are some of the best people around.

My (Justin) first time was a few years ago and Megan's first time was this year. She has been describing her experience very similarly to yours. She is still talking about it now and is, as predicted, eager for next year.

Keep up the impressive work and hopefully next year we can chat a bit more.

Take care.

I was visiting Natzhez, enamored by the beauty of the place and the history. We stopped in for coffee in a shop downtown and saw a hauntingly, stunning photograph of a ruined plantation home like I'd never seen. It was obvious that the photographer was familiar with homes such as this. I felt that the board across the door was like a piece of duct tape across the photographer's mouth keeping in stories he'd like to tell. I'd like to share a bottle of wine with him and hear what he has to say.....

....great photography. He deeply felt the history of that home to be able to take that photograph!

Hey Nath! Your work is really great--very artistic, whimsical but sensitive. I especially like your food (that made me hungry, lol) and nature photography (some of that reminded me of Ansel Adams!). You definitely have a future in this area. God bless!
